What is American Education Week?
American Education Week—November 18-22, 2019—will present all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.
2019's theme will be reflected in special observances each day of the 2019 weeklong celebration:
- Monday, November 18, 2019: Kickoff Day
- Tuesday, November 19, 2019: Parents Day
- Wednesday, November 20, 2019: Education Support Professionals Day
- Thursday, November 21, 2019: Educator for a Day
- Friday, November 22, 2019: Substitute Educators Day
